I pleated black leather to create "wings" on these dramatic spats. There is a zipper on the inseam and and an elastic panel at the calf to allow some adjustability for different calf sizes. This style can work with many different types of shoes since there isn't any instep elastic. They are lined with soft black denim and the right spat has a secret pocket!
